Hi there, my name is Penelope Pendragon I am a WISH Facilitator who is on a journey across, around and through America the Beautiful on an All Girl Tour.
Traveling with me are my dogs: Grace, George and Maggie.
The RH (Rolling House) is Rhiannon.
The Jeep is TJ
The GPS is Jill
Grace is my dog, she is the protector, the companion and the queen. Grace is a beautiful, regal, royal Akita. If anyone needs to believe I am protected, she is willing to send out a Big Dog bark to assure them. And although she's never bit anyone, I'm sure if anyone threatened me, she would step up and handle it.
Georgie is Grace's dog, and little sister. Same parents, different litter. Georgie is the spokesdog of the group. If there is need for a walk, cookies, dinner, petting... whatever, Georgie is the one who will let me know in no uncertain terms what she/they need. Georgie's life may have started with health problems and distress, but nowadays she is the calmest, coolest, most chill dog I've ever met. She offers only visual protection because Georgie is the softest dog in the world, right down to her soul.
Maggie is my son's dog. She is a Chow/Shepard/Badger/BabyHarpSeal mix. I took full custody of her when my son went into the AirForce in May of 2010. Maggie is our First Alert system. She knows if anyone is even THINKING about coming near us and she will most certainly sound the alert. We say she's part Badger because she hunts like one and fights like one. Her coloring is similar as well. When she rolls on her back, her white fur wrinkles up around her face. With her beautiful big brown eyes that have a thick application of black eyeliner, she looks just like a baby harp seal.
Rhiannon is the RH (Rolling House). At first, I thought she was female, but it turns out she is actually a gay male, so we still put her in the AllGirl category. I determined this gay male status when she ate the Queen CD and wouldn't let it go. Now we start every big journey with "We Will Rock You" followed of course, by "We are the Champions". I'm quite thankful she ate that CD. It provides me with inspiration each and every time it is played.
Rhiannon is a 34' 1988 Fleetwood Pace Arrow. The Queen of her class (which may actually be why she ate the CD). I bought her from a man I call "Gadget". I'm sure there will be more on Gadget as this blog develops. He is a character and I am thankful to always have him on the other end of the phone if I have any problems.
TJ is the jeep we have in tow. She was TJ (The Jeep) before I even realized she is actually a TJ series. I didn't care much about the series name since the CJ series in the 80's went to the YJ square headlights model. Imagine my surprise that I chose the right name for her series.
Jill is our GPS. You may see in future posts that Jill and I have our battles. I am hoping for a "Huge Vehicle" setting to magically appear on Jill one day so she'll understand the magnitude of the vehicle we are traveling in. I thought the BUS setting would work, but that just gives public transit routes.
